It's One Of The Most Dramatic And Romantic Nights Ever On ABC! Matt Grant Becomes Engaged To The Woman Who Has Captured His Heart, On The Season Finale Of "The Bachelor: London Calling," Monday, May 12

Monday, May 05, 2008 -- "Episode 1208" - Matt faces an excruciating decision between Chelsea and Shayne before making the commitment of his life, on the gripping Season Finale that ends with one heartbroken bachelorette in tears and other engaged to be married, on "The Bachelor: London Calling," MONDAY, MAY 12 (10:02-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Matt invites Chelsea and Shayne to London to meet his family -- his mother, Trish, his father, Tony and brother, Simon. Who will the family think is best suited for Matt?

Then, with time running it out, the Bachelor returns to Barbados for his final two dates. Chelsea takes this last opportunity to pour out her feelings for Matt and gives him a heartfelt gift: a California Survival Kit with items representative of their future life together. Shayne also professes her love for Matt and gives him a photo gift of her spelling out "I love you" in the sand.

In preparation for his final decision, Matt chooses a Tacori engagement ring, valued at $60,000. After each woman professes her love one last time, Matt delivers a devastating rejection. A tearful and heartbroken bachelorette must walk away from the man with whom she wanted to spend the rest of her life. Then, in the most anticipated moment of the season, in a deeply romantic scene, Matt gets down on his one knee, offering his final rose and an engagement ring with a life-changing proposal to the woman who has captured his heart.

The remaining two women are:
Chelsea, 24, a pharmaceutical sales representative from Durango, CO.
Shayne, 22, an actress from Malibu, CA.

Hosted by Chris Harrison, "The Bachelor: London Calling" is a production of Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television. Mike Fleiss, David Bohnert and Martin Hilton are the executive producers. "The Bachelor: London Calling" is broadcast with Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning.
