BURBANK, CA, April 21, 2008 – It’s brothers from other mothers and sisters from other misters as SOAPnet premieres “Relative Madness: It’s a Sibling Thing,” an original special counting down the 25 most over-the-top TV and celebrity siblings on Thursday, May 15 at 11:00 p.m., ET/PT. Some highlights of the most over-the-top sibs featured in the countdown include the competing careers of Jessica & Ashlee Simpson and Vinnie Chase & Johnny Drama, the Hiltons’ legal woes, the antics of Lindsay and Ali Lohan, Jane and Sydney’s infamous catfight in the pool on “Melrose Place,” Princes William & Harry’s social lives, the Olsen twins’ bank account and much, much more.

Commentators weighing in on the sibling revelry are comedians Joy Behar (“The View”), Chuck Nice (“Best Week Ever”) and Kathleen Madigan (“Last Comic Standing”), Paige Hemmis (“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”), actor Willie Garson (“Sex and the City”), actress Joy Lauren (“Desperate Housewives”), Lisa Gastineau (“Gastineau Girls”), actress Sonya Eddy (“General Hospital”) and actress Ana Ortiz (“Ugly Betty”).

The SOAPnet “Relative Madness” franchise is a series of six original specials that takes a fun and sassy look at families, blending real-life celebrities and pop-icons, as well as fictional primetime and daytime characters. Each show will count down the 25 best over-the-top TV and celebrity family moments, with commentary from a variety of talent and comedians.
