DoD Identifies Army Casualty: Spc. Mary J. Jaenichen, 20, of Temecula, California
May 10, 2008 -- The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Spc. Mary J. Jaenichen, 20, of Temecula, California, died May 9 in Iskandariyah, Iraq, of a non-combat related injury.
She was assigned to the Brigade Troops Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga.
The incident is under investigation.
