DoD Identifies Army Casualty: Pfc. William T. Dix, 32, of Culver City, California
April 30, 2008 -- The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Pfc. William T. Dix, 32, of Culver City, California, died April 27 at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, of injuries suffered in a non-combat related incident.
He was assigned to the 14th Engineer Battalion, 555th Engineer Brigade, I Corps, Fort Lewis, Wash.
The incident is under investigation.
