DoD Identifies Two Army Casualties: John T. Bishop, 22 and Timothy W. Cunningham, 26
April 25, 2008 -- The Department of Defense announced today the death of two soldiers who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
They died April 23 in Golden Hills, Iraq, of injuries suffered in a vehicle incident.
They were assigned to the 1st Squadron, 32nd Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky.
Killed were:
Pfc. John T. Bishop, 22, of Gaylord, Michigan.
1st Lt. Timothy W. Cunningham, 26, of College Station, Texas.
The incident is under investigation.
