DoD Identifies Two Army Casualties: Jason C. Kazarick, 30 and Michael T. Lilly, 23
April 09, 2008 -- The Department of Defense announced today the death of two soldiers who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
They died April 7 in Sadr City, Iraq, when enemy forces attacked using a rocket propelled grenade.
They were assigned to the 1st Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, Vilseck, Germany.
Killed were:
Spc. Jason C. Kazarick, 30, of Oakmont, Pennsylvania
Sgt. Michael T. Lilly, 23, of Boise, Idaho.
