"Grey's Anatomy" Episode Airing April 24

Monday, April 07, 2008 -- "Where the Wild Things Are" - Six weeks after Derek and Meredith ended their relationship and Derek began dating Rose, Meredith and her fellow residents, Alex, Izzie and Cristina, compete in a surgical contest, with Bailey serving as judge. Meanwhile interns George and Lexie adjust to their new, squalid apartment, and Callie finds a friend in her roommate Cristina's nemesis, Erica Hahn, on "Grey's Anatomy," THURSDAY, APRIL 24 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Grey's Anatomy" stars Ellen Pompeo as Meredith Grey, Patrick Dempsey as Derek Shepherd, Sandra Oh as Cristina Yang, Katherine Heigl as Isobel "Izzie" Stevens, Justin Chambers as Alex Karev, T.R. Knight as George O'Malley, Chandra Wilson as Miranda Bailey, James Pickens, Jr. as Richard Webber, Sara Ramirez as Callie Torres, Eric Dane as Mark Sloan, Chyler Leigh as Lexie Grey and Brooke Smith as Erica Hahn.

Guest starring Amy Madigan as Dr. Wyatt, Cheech Marin as Otis, Clea Duvall as Jennifer, Lauren Stamile as Rose, Steven Flynn as Scott with Jason O'Mara as Phillip. Co-starring Troy Westbrook as paramedic.

"Where the Wild Things Are" was written by Zoanne Clack and directed by Rob Corn.

"Grey's Anatomy" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish audio via SAP. A TV parental guideline will be posted closer to airdate.

This episode of "Grey's Anatomy" will be available on ABC.com the day after airing on the network for users to watch online.
