DoD Identifies Air Force Casualty: Staff Sgt. Travis L. Griffin, 28, of Dover, Delaware
April 04, 2008 -- The Department of Defense announced today the death of an airman who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Staff Sgt. Travis L. Griffin, 28, of Dover, Delaware, died April 3 near Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device.
He was assigned to the 377th Security Forces Squadron, Kirtland AFB, N.M.
