Barack Obama: SEIU Members Join Senator Obama On The “Road To Change"
March 31, 2008 -- Senator Bob Casey was not the only Keystone State voter welcoming Senator Obama to Pennsylvania on his statewide bus tour. Members of SEIU, Pennsylvania’s fastest growing union, were out in force at the first stop in Pittsburgh and over the weekend and will be at each stop along the “Road to Change” bus tour this week.
Lori Reinhart, a nurse for 30 years and member of SEIU Healthcare Pennsylvania, will introduce Senator Obama Monday morning at a town hall meeting in Lancaster.
“I love my job, but the current health care system has made it harder for nurses to deliver the care our patients need. Senator Obama has the vision and the solutions to make health care more affordable and accessible to all,” said Reinhart.
