Standing Room Only Tickets for Pittsburgh Pirates 2008 Home Opener Go on Sale Monday, March 31
03/28/2008 -- The Pittsburgh Pirates announced today that Standing Room Only tickets for the 2008 Home Opener will go on sale on Monday, March 31. Beginning at 9 a.m. fans can purchase Standing Room Only tickets to the April 7 Home Opener online at pirates.com or in person at the PNC Park Main Box Office Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tom Gorzelanny is scheduled to take the mound for the Pittsburgh Pirates in the Home Opener against the Chicago Cubs. The game is scheduled to start at 1:35 p.m.
Standing Room Only tickets for the Pittsburgh Pirates Home Opener can be purchased for $8.
Full and partial season ticket plans are still available for purchase, including the popular 8-game ticket package. The 8-game package gives fans the ability to choose the games they want to attend. In addition, fans receive two additional games free, as well as exclusive season ticket holder benefits.
