San Diego Padres Announce Roster Moves
32 Players now in Major League camp
PEORIA, Ariz., 03/26/2008 -- The San Diego Padres announced today that they have optioned three players to Triple-A Portland and reassigned three others to minor league camp. Executive Vice President/General Manager Kevin Towers made the announcements.
Infielders Brian Myrow, Oscar Robles and Craig Stansberry were optioned to Portland, while right-handed pitcher Adam Bass, left-hander Shawn Estes and outfielder Chip Ambres were reassigned to the Beavers.
With today's moves, the San Diego Padres now have 32 players in Major League camp, including 30 players from the 40-man roster and two non-roster invitees.
