Comedy Central Records Releases Robert Kelly's 'Just the Tip' CD/DVD on Tuesday, April 8
Take a Tip From Comedian Robert Kelly
NEW YORK, March 24, 2008 -- Robert Kelly has issues. From an abiding fear of commitment to an unhealthy addiction to food and an unusual take on sex, the Boston native offers a hysterical no-holds-barred tour of his world with his new CD/DVD, "Just the Tip" to be released on April 8. The CD "Just the Tip" was recorded live at Comedy Connection in his hometown of Boston on July 26, 2007. The DVD consists of his "COMEDY CENTRAL Presents" special, as well as an exclusive full-length documentary featuring Dane Cook, Colin Quinn, Jim Norton, and others.
Robert Kelly's recent television credits include, "COMEDY CENTRAL Presents," "Tourgasm" (HBO), "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (ABC), "Premium Blend" and "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn" (COMEDY CENTRAL), "The Carson Daly Show" (NBC), "Awesomely Oversexed" (VH1) and "The Jim Breuer Show" (MTV). His other TV credits include "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC), a guest starring role on "The Job" (ABC) with Denis Leary and his appearance as a detective playing opposite Vincent D'Onofrio on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (NBC). With over a dozen independent films under his belt, Kelly was recently seen in the feature film "Good Luck Chuck" (Lionsgate 2007) and will be seen in "Bachelor No. 2" (Lionsgate 2008) and "Ghost Town" (Dreamworks SKG 2008).
Robert has recently performed at the Just For Laughs Festival (Montreal), the South Beach Comedy Festival, HBO's Comedy Festival (Las Vegas) and the HBO US Comedy Arts Festival (Aspen). In addition to clubs and colleges nationwide, he has traveled across the country in the "Tourgasm Live" tour and is a regular on the Opie and Anthony "Traveling Virus" tour.
