Juniors, Seniors and Military to Receive Special Savings from Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park

Armed Forces Day scheduled for Saturday, May 10

03/17/2008, MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Brewers will once again honor members of the United States Armed Forces through Stars and Stripes Sundays and will provide kids and seniors with special discount days throughout the 2008 season.

For each Sunday home game in 2008, the Milwaukee Brewers are offering two FREE Terrace Level tickets to active and retired military personnel. The offer applies to all branches of the military service. Active and retired military personnel must present valid military identification which entitles them to two FREE Terrace Level tickets redeemable at windows 7-12 at Miller Park on the day of game only. This offer is based on ticket availability.

The Milwaukee Brewers have also designated 12 afternoon games as Kids and Senior Citizens Discount Days, which marks a record high during the Miller Park era. All kids 14 and under and seniors 60 and over can take advantage of savings of 50% on most seating locations, excluding Bleacher seats, Bernie's Terrace and Uecker seats.

The first Kids and Senior Citizens Discount Day is scheduled for Thursday, April 10 when the Brewers take on the Cincinnati Reds in a matinee game, beginning at 12:05 pm. Additional dates include April 22 (Cardinals), April 24 (Phillies), May 15 (Dodgers), May 29 (Braves), June 4 (Diamondbacks), June 19 (Blue Jays), July 10 (Rockies), August 11 (Nationals), August 20 (Astros), September 3 (Mets) and September 10 (Reds). All tickets are subject to availability.

In addition, tickets for Armed Forces Day on Saturday, May 10 when the Brewers take on the St. Louis Cardinals are available through the Armed Forces Committee. Interested parties can contact John Downing at the United States Coast Guard office at (414) 747-7151 for ticket information. Tickets purchased through the Coast Guard office are offered at a reduced price with a portion of the sale benefiting the Armed Forces Committee.
