Arizona Diamondbacks Make Roster Moves

03/16/2008, TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Arizona Diamondbacks announced today that they have optioned INF Emilio Bonifacio, C Wilkin Castillo and RHP Emiliano Fruto to Tucson (Triple-A) and reassigned OF Tim Raines, Jr. to Minor League camp.
The Arizona D-backs now have 38 players in camp. The breakdown includes 19 pitchers (18 roster/1 non-roster); 3 catchers (3 roster/0 non-roster); 9 infielders (7 roster/2 non-roster) and 7 outfielders (5 roster/2 non-roster).
