Arizona Diamondbacks Announce Roster Moves

03/13/2008, TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Arizona Diamondbacks announced today that they have optioned INF Javier Brito and RHP Max Scherzer to Tucson (AAA) and reassigned C Ed Easley to Minor League camp.
The Arizona D-backs now have 44 players in camp. The breakdown includes:
- 21 pitchers (20 roster/1 non-roster);
- 4 catchers (4 roster/0 non-roster);
- 10 infielders (8 roster/2 non-roster); and
- 9 outfielders (5 roster/4 non-roster).
