Kenny Chesney's Poets & Pirates Concert at AT&T Park Go on Public Sale this Saturday, March 15
03/13/2008 -- Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year Kenny Chesney will be at AT&T Park for his only northern California stop on Sunday, June 8 for his 14-city Corona Extra Presents Kenny Chesney Poets & Pirates Stadium Tour. He will be joined by four-time Entertainers of the Year Brooks & Dunn, Grammy Award winner LeAnn Rimes, platinum progressive West Coast Country star Gary Allan and newcomer Luke Bryan.
Chesney leads Academy of Country Music Awards nominees with 11 nominations including nominations for Entertainer and Male Vocalist and his Just Who I Am: Poets & Pirates is up for Album of the Year.
Chesney's 2007 tour was the second biggest in the world behind the Police's two decades in the making reunion tour. On Sunday, June 8, fans will be treated to more than six hours of country music on the shores of McCovey Cove. His shows are similar to football and baseball games, where fans arrive hours before the gates open to tailgate, cookout and enjoy a full day of entertainment.
