Texas Rangers Announce Nolan Ryan Select-A-Seat Event
03/04/2008, ARLINGTON -- The Texas Rangers will hold a Season Ticket and Mini-Plan Select-A-Seat with Nolan Ryan at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, Saturday, March 8 from 1-4:30 p.m.
The afternoon will feature "Chalk Talks" with Rusty Greer, Mark McLemore, Tom Grieve and Nolan Ryan. Grieve will host the Greer and McLemore sessions, while Chuck Morgan, Vice President of In-Park Entertainment, will host the session with Ryan. Times and locations are as follows:
Rusty Greer
1:15-1:35 p.m. - Section 33
Rusty Greer compares the 2008 Rangers to the 1996, 1998, and 1999 AL West Champions.
Mark McLemore
1:45-2:05 p.m. - Section 33
Mark McLemore talks about what the team is doing each day in Spring Training to prepare for the season.
Tom Grieve
2:10 -2:30 p.m. - Section 33
Tom Grieve shares his perspective on the current team and the Rangers off-season additions.
Nolan Ryan
2:45- 3:30 p.m. - Lower Home Run Porch
Nolan Ryan discusses why he joined the Rangers and what to expect in the future.
Additionally, there will be Behind the Scenes tours with stops in the Rangers Clubhouse, indoor batting cages and Press Box. Fans will also be able to run the bases, visit the Rangers Dugout and enjoy complimentary Coca-Cola Sports Park games.
All available seat locations for full-season plans, half-season plans, and Mini Plans will be tagged, and Account Executives will assist season ticket and mini-plan holders with any questions. Fans may enter the ballpark via the First Base auxiliary gate, to the right of the box office.
