Arizona Diamondbacks Single-Game Baseball Tickets on Sale Saturday

D-Backs release promotional schedule

02/25/2008, PHOENIX -- Single-game tickets for the National League West Division Champion Arizona Diamondbacks' 2008 home schedule, including Opening Day on April 7 versus the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the exhibition games on March 28 versus the Colorado Rockies and March 29 versus the Monterrey Sultanes, will go on sale this Saturday at 9 a.m.

A lottery system will be in place at Chase Field at 7:30 a.m. for those fans wishing to purchase tickets in person. Tickets can also be purchased by phone at 602.514.8400 or 1.888.777.4664 outside the Phoenix area, by visiting the Tucson Electric Park Ticket Office, Pro's Ranch Market on 16th Street and Roosevelt, or online at dbacks.com.

The majority of individual ticket prices range from $5-$70. Seventeen games will be priced as premier games and tickets will increase by $1 when purchased on the day of the game. Highlights of the 2008 home schedule includes the D-backs 10th Anniversary Celebration Weekend, April 11-13, versus the Rockies; an interleague match-up versus the Detroit Tigers, May 16-18; the return of the D-backs 2007 NLDS opponent Chicago Cubs, July 21-23; and Fandemonium Weekend to close out the regular season, versus the Rockies, September 26-28.

The team also released the 2008 promotional schedule today, featuring a giveaway item every Saturday for the first 25,000 fans and a giveaway to the first 5,000 children 12 and younger at Sunday games. Every Friday night home game will feature a post-game fireworks show, presented by Gila River Casinos.
