Kenny Chesney Tickets Go on Sale March 15

Mar. 15 is the new ticket on sale date for Kenny Chesney's Poets & Pirates concert at AT&T Park

02/14/2008 -- Tickets to the biggest country show to ever come to the Bay Area, Kenney Chesney's Poets & Pirates Tour, will go on sale Saturday, March 15, at 10:00 a.m. on sfgiants.com. Please note that this is a new on sale date from the originally announced date of February 23.

Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year Kenny Chesney will be at AT&T Park for his only northern California stop on Sunday, June 8 for his 14-city Corona Extra Presents Kenny Chesney Poets & Pirates Stadium Tour. He will be joined by four-time Entertainers of the Year Brooks & Dunn, Grammy Award winner LeAnn Rimes, platinum progressive West Coast Country star Gary Allan and newcomer Luke Bryan.

Chesney's 2007 tour was the second biggest in the world behind the Police's two decades in the making reunion tour. On Sunday, June 8, fans will be treated to more than six hours of country music on the shores of McCovey Cove. His shows are similar to football and baseball games, where fans arrive hours before the gates open to tailgate, cookout and enjoy a full day of entertainment.
