Milwaukee Brewers Arctic Tailgate Party Set for Saturday, Feb. 23
- Individual game tickets on sale Saturday at 9 a.m.
- Advance parking passes for Opening Day and all Milwaukee Brewers home games also available
02/20/2008, MILWAUKEE -- The sale of individual tickets to Milwaukee Brewers home games begins this Saturday at 9 a.m. during the Brewers "Arctic Tailgate" party. Fans are invited to come out to Miller Park for the festivities which include free merchandise and food for the first fans to arrive at the Miller Park Box Office.
The first 2,000 people in line at the "Arctic Tailgate" will receive a specially produced, Milwaukee Brewers Arctic Tailgate T-shirt, available only to those who attend the event. They will also receive a Klement's hot dog, a Pepsi and a bag of chips (compliments of Sportservice).
The World Famous Klement's Racing Sausages, Bernie Brewer and Brewers alumni players will also be on hand to greet the fans. Coffee and donuts will be served to the early arrivals, and Friday's Front Row will open at 8 a.m. with food service beginning at 9:30 a.m. The FanZone Store will also open at 8 a.m. This marks the second year that the Brewers have hosted an "Arctic Tailgate" party to kick off the sale of individual tickets.
Individual tickets for all 81 regular season games at Miller Park go on sale Saturday with a very limited number of tickets (including Standing Room Only) available for the Home Opener on Friday, April 4 vs. San Francisco. Each fan will be limited to a maximum of four tickets for Opening Day based on availability.
Fans will also be able to purchase parking passes in advance for all home dates at Miller Park including Opening Day. By purchasing Opening Day parking passes in advance, fans can receive savings of 50% for most parking locations. Advance General parking passes for Opening Day are priced at $8 with Preferred parking listed at $12 per pass. Bus passes can also be obtained in advance for $25. In comparison, day of game parking prices for passes purchased on Opening Day include: General - $15; Preferred - $25; Bus - $50. For Opening Day, there is a purchase limit of two advance parking passes per ticket order. A complete listing of the Miller Park parking prices is listed below.
In addition to the Miller Park Box Office, fans will be able to buy tickets and parking passes through brewers.com or by phone (414-902-4000). Tickets are also available at all tickets.com outlets (please note, though, that Opening Day tickets will only be sold on Saturday at the Box Office, not through other outlets). The Miller Park Box Office will be open until 5 p.m. on February 23. Normal Box Office hours are 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Monday - Friday (beginning Monday, Feb. 25), 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday.
