Kansas City Royals Welcome Home Luncheon Set for April 9
Entire Kansas City Royals team to be in attendance to celebrate start of 2008 season
02/20/2008, KANSAS CITY -- The Kansas City Royals have announced that the 2008 Welcome Home Luncheon, presented by the Kansas City Zone Dodge Dealers and co-sponsored by Teva Neuroscience, is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at The Westin Crown Center. Doors for the event will open at 11:30 a.m. with the program set to begin at noon.
Fans can join General Manager Dayton Moore, Manager Trey Hillman and the entire team at the festivities to celebrate the start of the 2008 season. Guests will have an opportunity to welcome back their favorite players, meet the newest Royals and get an exclusive look at the 2008 club.
A limited number of premium tables for the event are available for $600. Each premium table includes nine tickets with the 10th seat filled by a Royals player, coach or Royals Alumni member. Tables of 10 are available for $450 and individual tickets are $50 each. Tickets for the 2008 Welcome Home Luncheon may be purchased by calling the Royals Publicity Department at (816) 921-8000 or by visiting royals.com.
Following the luncheon on April 9, the Royals will take the field for the second game of the three-game home opener series against the New York Yankees with first pitch at 7:10 p.m.
