Jimmy Welcomes Oscar Winner Ben Affleck and Academy Awards Host Jon Stewart
Tuesday, February 19, 2008 -- Academy Award winner Ben Affleck will appear on ABC's third annual "Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards" with special cameo appearance by host of the 2008 Oscars Jon Stewart and musical performance by Grammy; Award winner Mary J. Blige, SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 24 (12:05-1:05 p.m., ET, approx). The post-Oscar celebration will be broadcast LIVE from the El Capitan Entertainment Center in Hollywood.
Host Jimmy Kimmel has welcomed recent guests such as Matthew McConaughey, Hilary Swank, Justin Timberlake, Orlando Bloom, Cameron Diaz, Robin Williams, Kanye West, Kobe Bryant, Mariah Carey and Will Ferrell, as well as performances by The Killers, Ozzy Osbourne, Kelly Clarkson, Linkin Park, Incubus, Destiny's Child, Coldplay, Avril Lavigne, 50 Cent and many more, including Matt Damon... well, almost Matt Damon.
Packed with hilarious comedy bits and a fantastic house band, "Jimmy Kimmel Live" features a diverse lineup of guests that includes celebrities, athletes, musicians, comedians and humorous human interest subjects. Each night, Jimmy strives to do what no other late-night talk show can do -- deliver up-to-the minute news on the latest topics... though sometimes enhanced for the sake of comedy.
Jimmy Kimmel and Jill Leiderman serve as executive producers of "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Jason Schrift and Douglas DeLuca serve as co-executive producers. "Jimmy Kimmel Live" is shot live in front of a studio audience and produced by Jackhole Industries in association with ABC Studios.
