John McCain Announces Rhode Island Leadership Team
February 13, 2008 -- ARLINGTON, VA -- U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today announced additions to its Rhode Island Leadership team. The new members join State Chair and House Minority Leader Robert A. Watson.
"It is a great pleasure to work with a dedicated team of McCain supporters across our great state," said Representative Watson. "John McCain is a man of exceptional courage and personal sacrifice. He has proven that he exemplifies the principles of the Republican Party, and his lifetime of public service has made him the best qualified candidate to lead our nation as president at this critical time in our history."
John McCain thanked his Rhode Island leadership team, stating, "I am proud of the quality of leadership working on my behalf in the Ocean State. We won Rhode Island in 2000 and I look forward to campaigning in the state again."
