For the past six seasons, the Astros Opening Day contest has been a quick sellout. This season figures to be no different as the Astros begin their pursuit toward a World Series Championship. To guarantee a seat for Opening Day, fans can purchase a full-season ticket package or the new Opening Day Plan. Under this plan, fans are guaranteed a seat to Opening Day as part of their 10-game package. For more information on Astros full-season ticket packages (83 games) and mini-plans, log on to www.astros.com or call the Astros Ticket Services Department at (713) 259-8500 or 1-800-ASTROS-2.
Notable games throughout the 2008 season include the weekend series vs. the New York Yankees (June 13-15) and the first visit to Minute Maid Park by the World Series Champion Boston Red Sox (June 27-29). The NLCS Champion Colorado Rockies will also visit Houston for a three-game series on April 18-20. The Lone Star Series against the Texas Rangers takes place June 24-26. The Astros will take on the Chicago Cubs at home on May 19-21 along with two weekend series on July 18-20 and Sept. 12-14.
Astros fans can still purchase tickets to the Yankees and Red Sox series through season tickets, 27-game plans, as well as Friday and Sunday plans. The Astros held a random drawing for registered fans for the Yankees and Red Sox series on Feb. 11. Fans had the opportunity to register online for the tickets at Astros.com beginning Jan. 9 at 10:00 a.m. through Feb. 11 at 12:00 p.m.

The bobblehead set will include outfielder Hunter Pence (Apr. 12), pitcher Roy Oswalt (May 24), and infielder Lance Berkman (Aug. 1). Fans will have the opportunity to vote for the fourth bobblehead by visiting www.astros.com during the month of March. The fourth bobblehead will be featured on Aug. 29.
