St. Louis Cardinals Opening Day Baseball Tickets on Sale Feb. 25

02/12/2008, ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis Cardinals have announced that Opening Day tickets will be available via a random online drawing of fans that have pre-registered at stlcardinals.com. The Cardinals season begins this year on Monday, March 31, at 3:15 p.m. vs. the defending National League Champion Colorado Rockies.
As part of the Cardinals continuing effort to make tickets available to as many fans as possible, a more efficient and fair ticket ordering process has been developed. With a limited number of tickets available, fans are asked to register online so a random drawing may be offered giving all fans equal chance to have the opportunity to purchase opening day tickets. Fans may register until noon CDT on Wednesday, February 20.
The online registration will work as follows:
Registration is open until Wednesday, February 20, at noon CDT
* Cardinals fans may log on to stlcardinals.com and register for a chance to purchase Opening Day tickets.
Friday, February 22
* Winners will be notified by e-mail. The e-mail will provide winners with instructions on how to purchase tickets on Monday, February 25.
Monday, February 25, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
* Winners will have the opportunity to purchase up to four (4) tickets for Opening Day. Seat locations will be sold on a first-come basis.
Complete details and rules for the random drawing and purchases are available at stlcardinals.com. The team has also announced that individual tickets for the remaining 80 games will go on sale on Friday, February 29, at 9 a.m. Individual game tickets will be available to purchase online at stlcardinals.com, by calling the Cardinals charge line at 314-345-9000, at all Cardinals Clubhouse Stores and at Schnucks markets.
Individual tickets in all-inclusive areas, such as the new Champions Club, Bank of America Club, Coca-Cola Bridge/Deck/Patio, Homer's Landing, Left Field Landing and Legends Club, are available now at stlcardinals.com or by calling.
