Charles Gibson to Interview Newly Elected Mayor Michael Nutter
Monday, February 11, 2008 -- On Wednesday, February 13, ABC's Charles Gibson will anchor "World News" from Philadelphia near the Independence National Historical Park. While in Philadelphia, Mr. Gibson will interview newly elected Mayor Michael Nutter and document a "Day in the Life."
Mayor Michael Nutter takes office with overwhelming obstacles and challenges - challenges that many American cities face. He also brings some very ambitious goals to the post, including tackling the education system, violent crime and the city's deteriorating infrastructure.
Mr. Gibson's interview will be featured on Wednesday's "World News" and the "World News" webcast.
Additionally, Mr. Gibson will appear on WPVI-TV's "Action News" at 6:00 p.m., ET on Wednesday.
"World News with Charles Gibson" airs at 6:30 p.m., ET on the ABC Television Network. Jon Banner is the executive producer of the broadcast.
