Houston Astro Legend Jeff Bagwell to be Guest on Astroline Wednesday, Feb. 6
Houston Astros off-season, call-in radio show broadcast live from Dave and Busters
02/05/2008, HOUSTON -- The Houston Astros announced today that Astro legend Jeff Bagwell will be the guest on the club's popular Astroline off-season, call-in radio show on Wednesday (Feb. 6) 6:00 p.m. Hosted by Houston Astros radio broadcaster Dave Raymond, Astroline will be broadcast from Dave & Buster's, located at 6010 Richmond Avenue. The show airs for one hour on the club's flagship station, KTRH 740 AM, and on the internet at Astros.com.
A four-time All-Star, Jeff Bagwell hit .297 (2314-for-7797) in 2,150 games for Houston from 1991-2005. He is the franchise leader in career home runs (449), runs batted in (1529) and walks (1401) and the 1994 National League MVP also ranks second in club history with 2,314 hits. The Astros retired Bagwell's No. 5 on August 26, 2007, and he currently serves as a special assistant to the general manager for the Astros
Astroline is in the midst of its five-month run leading into the 2008 baseball season, and the program is normally broadcast every Wednesday at 7 p.m. from Dave & Busters. The show moves to Florida in February, when the Astros report to their Spring Training complex in Kissimmee, FL.
Astroline features interviews, news, and information on the Houston Astros. The program features a different guest each week, including Astros owner Drayton McLane, General Manager Ed Wade, players, and front office personnel. Bud Light is the official sponsor of Astroline.
