Chicago White Sox Online Baseball Ticket Auction Closes This Week

First-time auction gives fans the chance to purchase exclusive individual-game tickets
02/05/2008, CHICAGO -- The Chicago White Sox ticket auction at whitesox.com, which gives fans the opportunity to purchase tickets to all Prime and Premier games (46 games total), closes on Thursday, February 7 at 3:00 p.m. CT.
The first-time early auction on the website features tickets that have not ordinarily been available for purchase by the general public. A select number of four-ticket sets to Opening Day and series vs. the Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and New York Yankees, among other teams, are currently available through the auction.
The opening bid on each set of tickets started at $65 per ticket for Prime games and $80 per ticket for Premier (plus additional processing and service fees).
Individual-game tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 15 at 10:00 a.m.
