ELI TAKES ON A HUGE CONGLOMERATE AND FINDS THAT, HIDDEN BENEATH THE SURFACE, LIES A GREATER CAUSE, ON ABC'S "ELI STONE"
Friday, January 18, 2008 -- "Freedom" - After a pilgrimage to the Himalayas to scatter his dad's ashes and two weeks without visions, Eli has returned to work reinvigorated. Maggie, a first-year associate at W.P.K., suggests he take the case of a married couple from Mexico -- farmhands seeking compensation against a large produce manufacturer whose pesticide made the wife and her co-workers infertile. Eli resists taking the case until a singing boys' choir and a biplane - his visions, returned - persuade him otherwise. Unfortunately, his clients are keeping two secrets from him, challenging both their marriage and their American citizenship, on ABC's "Eli Stone," THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 7 (10:02-11:00 p.m., ET).
"Eli Stone" stars Jonny Lee Miller as Eli Stone, Victor Garber as Jordan Wethersby, Natasha Henstride as Taylor Wethersby, Laura Benanti as Beth, Loretta Devine as Patti, Sam Jaeger as Matt Dowd, James Saito as Dr. Chen, Matt Letscher as Nathan Stone and Julie Gonzalo as Maggie Dekker.
Guest starring are Tom Amendes as Martin Posner, Yvonne DeLaRosa as Blanca Ramirez and Jos Viramotes as Oscar Ramirez.
"Freedom" was written by Marc Guggenheim and Greg Berlanti and directed by Michael Schultz.
"Eli Stone" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning. This program carries a TV-PG,D,L,S parental guideline.
This episode of "Eli Stone" will be available on ABC.com the day after airing on the network for users to watch online.
