AOL Names Dave Harmon to Head Human Resources
January 22, 2008 -- AOL today announced that it has named Dave Harmon Executive Vice President, Human Resources. Harmon will oversee all aspects of AOL's global human resources efforts, including talent acquisition, development and retention, employee relations, compensation and benefits, HR systems and processes, organizational effectiveness and leadership development, and strategic consulting to support AOL's global ad-supported Web business.

Harmon has more than 17 years experience in the human resources field including corporate, international and field-based human resources.
Prior to his current position, Harmon served as Senior Vice President of AOL's HR Solution Center, responsible for international HR, talent acquisition, HR technologies, employee relations, global mobility, immigration, compliance, payroll and the HR call center. Harmon joined AOL in 2003 as Vice President, Human Resources.
Before coming to AOL in 2003, Dave was Vice President, New Business Development, for Footstarworks, a division of Footstar. Previously, Dave held Human Resource and operational positions at Footstar, Pepsi-Cola and Cooper Industries.
Harmon has a B.A. in Marketing and Psychology from Skidmore College, and an MBA from Clarkson University with a concentration in Economics. He has additional graduate degrees/certificates in Operations Management and Human Resource Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
