Boston Red Sox Game Information Announced for 2008 Japan Opening Series against Oakland A's

Game information for the 2008 Ricoh Japan Opening Series was announced at a press conference featuring Boston Red Sox pitcher Hideki Okajima on Wednesday (Tuesday night ET) in Tokyo.

The Boston Red Sox schedule in Japan will be as follows:

Saturday, March 22: Exhibition game with Hanshin Tigers at Tokyo Dome, 12:07 p.m. Japan Time (11:07 p.m. March 21 ET)

Sunday, March 23: Exhibition game with Yomiuri Giants at Tokyo Dome, 7:07 p.m. Japan Time (6:07 a.m. ET)

Tuesday, March 25: Major League Regular Season Opener with Oakland A's at Tokyo Dome, 7:07 p.m. Japan Time (6:07 a.m. ET)

Wednesday, March 26: Regular Season Game with Oakland A's at Tokyo Dome, 7:07 p.m. Japan Time (6:07 a.m. ET)

The general public ticket on-sale for all four Red Sox games in Tokyo begins on Saturday, February 9. Information is available by calling 011-81-3-5777-8600 between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. ET. More specific ticket information is expected to be available through Major League Baseball in the near future.
