RUBY GOES ON HER FIRST DATE, ON ABC'S "ACCORDING TO JIM"
Monday, January 14, 2008 -- "Ruby's First Date" -- After Cheryl leaves town to take care of her mom, Jim realizes he can't be both mother and father to his children, so when Ruby tries to have girl talk with her dad, he reassigns "mommy power" to Aunt Dana. But when Dana gives Ruby permission to go out with an older boy, an upset Jim can't stand idly by, and he, Dana and Andy end up trailing Ruby on her date to the mall, on "According to Jim," TUESDAY, JANUARY 29 (9:00-9:30 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
"According to Jim" stars Jim Belushi as Jim, Courtney Thorne- Smith as Cheryl, Kimberly Williams-Paisley as Dana, Larry Joe Campbell as Andy, Taylor Atelian as Ruby, Billi Bruno as Gracie and Conner Rayburn as Kyle.
Guest starring are Tom Maden as Sammy, Nick Fowler as Penguin Kid and Quinn Buniel as boy teenager.
"Ruby's First Date" is written by Sylvia Green and directed by Kimberly Williams-Paisley.
"According to Jim" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5/1 channel surround sound. This program carries a TV-PG,D,L parental guideline.
This episode of "According to Jim" will be available on ABC.com the day after airing on the network for users to watch online.
