Arizona Diamondbacks Spring Training Tickets on Sale This Saturday

01/15/2008, PHOENIX -- With Spring Training just around the corner, tickets to the Arizona Diamondbacks' 18 Cactus League games at Tucson Electric Park in Tucson will go on sale this Saturday at 10 a.m. at TEP.

The D-backs will kick off the exhibition schedule by hosting the 2007 National League Champion Colorado Rockies on Feb. 28 at 1:05 p.m. at Tucson Electric Park. The team's 11th Spring Training season will feature 15 home games at TEP, five additional "away" games in Tucson and 11 games in the Phoenix-metro area, including two exhibition games to conclude the schedule at Chase Field on March 28 and 29 against two yet-to-be-announced teams. Arizona will face the Chicago White Sox, who have shared Tucson Electric Park and the Pima County Kino Sports Complex with the D-backs since 1998, on five occasions. The D-backs and White Sox will also travel to Hermosillo, Mexico to play a split-squad exhibition game at Hector Espino Stadium on March 2 at 2 p.m.

Ticket prices in the main grandstand area at Tucson Electric Park are: Covered Mezzanine $16; Field Level Infield $15; Field Level Grandstand $12; Lower Bleachers $8; Upper Bleachers $6. Lawn seats will be $5. Tickets will be available for purchase beginning at noon by calling 866.672.1343 or online at dbacks.com.

The D-backs are also offering a new all-inclusive ticket option for groups beginning in 2008. Groups of 20 or more can purchase tickets for $20 each to the new Chill & Grill Station located on the right field concourse. The Chill & Grill Station includes all-you-can-eat ballpark food while mingling with friends under a covered patio. Beer, wine and cocktails are available for purchase from a private bar.

Fans wishing to purchase season tickets to all D-backs spring training games at Tucson Electric Park or needing information on group pricing, including the new Chill & Grill Station, can call a sales representative at 520.434.1320 prior to the on-sale date.

Tickets for the exhibition games at Chase Field, which benefit the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation's "Diamonds Back" field building program, will go on sale on March 1 with the remainder of the team's 81 regular-season home games.
