Statement By John McCain Campaign On Michigan Primary Results
January 15, 2008 -- COLUMBIA, SC -- U.S. Senator John McCain's South Carolina Co-Chair, Attorney General Henry McMaster, issued the following statement regarding the Michigan Primary:
"We're very pleased with the strong campaign John McCain ran in Michigan and are looking forward to winning here in South Carolina on Saturday. John McCain is the only candidate with the experience and judgment necessary to lead as commander in chief from day one in the Oval Office.
John McCain has been a consistent conservative for change in Washington, a fight he will continue as president. We're confident that South Carolina voters will recognize this when they cast their ballots this weekend."
