Disney-ABC Television Group, Buena Vista Records Release "A Love Affair," Featuring Stars from ABC Dramas
Love Songs to Be Available for Purchase in-Store and Online; Anthony Geary ("General Hospital") Makes His Recording Debut
Monday, January 07, 2008 -- Following the successful 2007 CD "A Holiday Affair," stars from the ABC dramas "All My Children," "One Life to Live" and "General Hospital" join together to perform a selection of love songs for a new soon-to-be released Valentine's Day CD entitled "A Love Affair." Five-time Emmy(r) Award winner Anthony Geary (Luke Spencer, "General Hospital") makes his recording debut with "Every Time We Say Goodbye," and Emmy(r) Award winner Susan Lucci (Erica Kane, "All My Children") headlines this January 29, 2008 release from Buena Vista Records. The announcement was made today by Brian Frons, president, Daytime, Disney-ABC Television Group.
"Music is an integral part of our dramas," said Mr. Frons in making the announcement. "Whether featured performances from today's popular artists or releasing merchandise showcasing the vocal talents of our stars, the audience responds because of their passion for the shows and the artists."

"A Love Affair" will be available for purchase at mass-market retailers ($18.98), digital music service providers and online at abctvstore.com.
ABC's daytime lineup consists of "The View" (11:00 a.m. - NOON, ET) "All My Children" (1:00-2:00 p.m., ET),"One Life to Live" (2:00-3:00 p.m., ET) and "General Hospital" (3:00-4:00 p.m., ET), which air MONDAY-FRIDAY respectively, on the ABC Television Network. Same-day episodes of ABC's daytime drama lineup can be seen from 8:00-11:00 p.m. on SOAPnet.
The Daytime Division of the Disney-ABC Television Group was formed in May 2006 when Brian Frons was named president of the new Division, overseeing the creation, production and delivery of all product for ABC Daytime, SOAPnet and Buena Vista Productions.
