New Hampshire Governor Lynch Signs Legislation Fixing Workers’ Compensation Law
January 4, 2008 -- CONCORD - New Hampshire Governor John Lynch today signed legislation that fixes a new workers’ compensation law. The original bill, which was recommended by a bipartisan study committee, passed the House and Senate last year.
“I am pleased the bipartisan leadership of the House and Senate acted quickly to fix unintended problems with the law. The original bill was an attempt to address real concerns and to make sure workers are protected. We must continue to look at those issues, ” Gov. Lynch said.
The legislation, House Bill 692, took effect upon the Governor’s signature.
