Missouri Governor Blunt Commends Wentzville GM Plant for Productivity Increase
December 20, 2007 -- WENTZVILLE - Missouri Governor Matt Blunt issued the following statement in response to news that the General Motors plant in Wentzville will increase production of vehicles from 40 per hour over two shifts to 42 per hour over the same period:
“This is good news for the outstanding employees at the General Motors plant in Wentzville and I commend them for their productivity and dedication to their work. Missouri enjoys a productive relationship with General Motors that extends beyond their exceptional workforce into small businesses in our state that manufacture products for their vehicles. I congratulate the workforce at General Motors on this announcement.”
