Elisabeth Hasselbeck to Return to 'The View' on January 7

Monday, December 17, 2007 -- On MONDAY, JANUARY 7, Elisabeth Hasselbeck brings her conservative voice back to "Hot Topics," kicking off the first live show of the 2008 season. Mrs. Hasselbeck left for maternity leave on Oct. 23, temporarily relocating to Arizona to join her husband Tim Hasselbeck, who had just signed with the Arizona Cardinals. On Friday, Nov. 9 (at 7:56 a.m., MT), Mrs. Hasselbeck and husband Tim welcomed their son, Taylor Thomas Hasselbeck. Taylor is brother to big sister Grace.

ABC's "The View" will feature encore broadcasts DECEMBER 24 - JANUARY 4, featuring some of Hollywood's hottest stars, celebrity guest co-hosts, sensational musical performances and the finest in fashion, health and beauty advice.

"The View" features Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd. It's the original forum in which real women discuss everyday issues and share their no-holds-barred opinions and engage in colorful conversations. Since its launch, "The View" has received 22 Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Talk Show. The show has received numerous nominations, including ten consecutive nominations for Outstanding Daytime Talk Show and Outstanding Talk Show Host.
