Burbank, CA, November 19, 2007 – A mystical Snowglobe transports Angela (Christina Milian), who longs for the “perfect” Christmas away from her boisterous family, into an idyllic holiday winter wonderland in “Snowglobe” premiering on ABC Family on Saturday, December 15 (8:00 – 10:00 p.m. ET/PT). But is Angela’s idea of a perfect Christmas truly what her heart desires?

Just as a mysterious package arrives for Angela, her family once again invades her apartment for yet another family dinner with elbows on the table, constant squabbles, an overbearing but well-intentioned mother (Lorraine Bracco) and invasion of privacy that come with a big, over-grown family. After her family finally leaves, Angela opens the package and discovers inside a Christmas Snowglobe that symbolizes the Norman Rockwell world of civility for which she secretly yearns.

That night, in a dream, she finds herself magically transported into the very winter wonderland that is Snowglobe. Awed -- and a little freaked out -- she explores the miniature town and meets its inhabitants. Of course, in the spirit of Christmas, they welcome her with open arms, neatly wrapped holiday presents and fresh baked Christmas cookies. Inside the globe, she also meets and finds herself attracted to the perfectly pleasant Douglas (Matt Keeslar). Could this be the man of her dreams – or is he just the man in her dreams?

It's only when she awakens in her small, cramped apartment - with a trinket from Snowglobe world in her hand - that she realizes her trip was not a dream. It was real.

Delighted at this new turn of events, and unable to convince anyone of what has happened, Angela begins traveling back to Snowglobe with more frequency as the precious little Christmas world becomes more important to her than her real life. But while the world of Snowglobe seems ideal in every way in beginning, Angela soon realizes that the choices she's making in this "perfect" world are impacting the lives of those in the snowglobe as well as her own wonderfully flawed family.

Unexpectedly, the two worlds collide when Douglas follows her into the real world, just as she is developing a new relationship with her neighbor Eddie (Josh Cooke). Angela struggles to reconcile the situation and ultimately has to make a choice about what really defines her perfect Christmas. Perfection comes in different kinds of packages!

Snowglobe stars Christina Milian, Lorraine Bracco, Josh Cooke, Matt Keeslar and Ron Canada. The film is directed by Ron Lagomarsino and executive produced by Jody Brockway and Craig McNeil and is also produced by Craig McNeil. The film is written by Garrett Frawley and Brian Turner.
