Dolly Parton and Vicki Lawrence Reprise Their Roles as Aunt Dolly and Mamaw
Burbank, November 16, 2007 -- Dolly Parton and Vicki Lawrence return to Disney Channel's hit series "Hannah Montana" in the all new episode "I Will Always Loathe You," premiering FRIDAY, DECEMBER 7 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
In the episode, Miley is being awarded 'Female Artist of the Year' and has invited the two most influential women in her life to attend – her sassy godmother Aunt Dolly (played by Parton) and her cranky Mamaw (played by Lawrence). Things go from bad to worse when the two stubborn southern belles continue the feud that started over Elvis Presley years ago.
Starring are Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus, Emily Osment, Jason Earles and Mitchel Musso.
"Hannah Montana" is the top series on broadcast and basic cable (behind only American Idol-Tuesday and American Idol-Wednesday) among kids 6-11 (4.7 national rating / 1,130,000) and tweens 9-14 (4.2 national rating/ 1,029,000). The series is also ranked as the #1 series on basic cable among kids 6-11 and tweens 9-14. Its soundtrack is triple-platinum and an apparel and accessories line is available nationwide at Macy's.
