DNC Fall Meeting to Highlight Strong Democratic Leadership
November 20, 2007 -- The Democratic National Committee will hold its annual fall meeting in Vienna, Virginia from November 29, to December 1, 2007. On Friday, November 30, the Democratic presidential candidates, DNC Chairman Howard Dean, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Colorado Governor Bill Ritter will address members of the DNC. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer will address the Executive Committee meeting on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
More than 400 DNC members from around the country are expected to attend. This will be the last meeting of the full DNC membership before the Democratic convention in Denver next August.
In order of appearance, the first general session from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. will be as follows:
* DNC Chairman Howard Dean
* Governor Bill Richardson
* Senator John Edwards
* Senator Chris Dodd
* Senator Barack Obama
* House Speaker Nancy Pelosi
In order of appearance, the second general session from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. will be as follows:
* Congressman Dennis Kucinich
* Senator Joe Biden
* Senator Hillary Clinton
* Governor Bill Ritter
A more detailed agenda, including committee and caucus schedules, will be provided at a further date.
