DoD Identifies Three Army Casualties: Marius L. Ferrero, Jason T. Lee and Christopher J. Nelson
November 20, 2007 -- The Department of Defense announced today the death of three soldiers who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
They died Nov. 18 when an improvised explosive device detonated during a mounted patrol in Baquabah, Iraq.
They were assigned to the 1st Battalion, 38th Infantry Regiment, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Wash.
Killed were:
Pfc. Marius L. Ferrero, 23, of Miami, Florida, who died in Baqubah, Iraq.
Cpl. Jason T. Lee, 26, of Fruitport, Michigan, who died in Balad, Iraq.
Cpl. Christopher J. Nelson, 22, Rochester, Washington, who died in Baqubah, Iraq.
