DoD Identifies Army Casualties: David A. Boris and Adrian E. Hike
November 15, 2007 -- The Department of Defense announced today the death of two soldiers who were supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
They died Nov. 12 in Bermel, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when the vehicle they were in was struck by an improvised explosive device.
They were assigned to 1st Squadron, 91st Cavalry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, Schweinfurt, Germany.
Killed were:
Capt. David A. Boris, 30, of Pennsylvania.
Spc. Adrian E. Hike, 26, of Callender, Iowa.
