DoD Identifies Marine Casualty: Sgt. Phillip A. Bocks, 28, of Troy, Michigan
November 13, 2007 -- The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Sgt. Phillip A. Bocks, 28, of Troy, Michigan, died Nov. 9 while conducting combat operations in Aranus, Afghanistan.
He was assigned to Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport, Calif.
