Wednesday, November 07, 2007 -- ABC Daytime and SOAPnet have joined forces to ensure fans enjoy their favorite ABC Daytime stars every day of the week with the first-ever 14-month "Hot Guys" 2008 calendar, featuring some of the biggest male stars from the top-rated shows "All My Children," "One Life to Live" and "General Hospital." The calendars will first be made available for purchase and mail order at "ABC's Super Soap Weekend," Nov. 10-11 at Disney MGM Studios at the Walt Disney Resort, presented by Colgate(r). Beginning Monday, Nov. 12, the calendar will be available for purchase at abctvstore.com.

"The View" co-host Sherri Shepherd will unveil the calendar Friday, Nov. 9 on the show (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET). On Monday, Nov. 12, "The View" will air a segment taped exclusively at the 12th annual "ABC Super Soap Weekend" featuring Ms. Shepherd making her first visit to "ABC Super Soap Weekend," on a quest to hunt down the hunks and have them autograph the calendar, which will later be auctioned off online for charity.

"This is part of an ongoing strategic effort to extend the brand to our fans," said Brian Frons, president, Daytime, Disney ABC Television Group. "Now our fans can have a date with their favorite soap stars 365 days a year."

The calendar features photos of "All My Children's" Thorsten Kaye, Cameron Mathison, Aiden Turner and Jacob Young; "One Life to Live's" Kamar de los Reyes, Michael Easton, David Fumero, John-Paul Lavoisier and Trevor St. John; and Maurice Benard, Steve Burton, Tyler Christopher, Jason Thompson and Greg Vaughan from "General Hospital."

ABC Daytime, which remains number one among all broadcast networks in the key Women 18-49 demographic, produces 1,000 hours of original television a year, with four network-owned daytime programs, including the talk show "The View," which is in its 11th season, as well as the popular daytime dramas "General Hospital," "All My Children" and "One Life to Live.

SOAPnet offers same-day episodes of popular daytime dramas including "All My Children," "Days of our Lives," "One Life to Live," "General Hospital" and "The Young and the Restless" at night for convenient viewing. In addition, the network provides inside access to stars and storylines with original programs, including "General Hospital: Night Shift," the docu-soap "The Fashionista Diaries," the reality series "I Wanna Be a Soap Star" and the biography shows "Soapography" and "1 Day With..." Wrapped in a 24-hour environment, SOAPnet also offers primetime classics including "The O.C.," "One Tree Hill," "Beverly Hills 90210," "Melrose Place," "Falcon Beach" and "Dallas," as well as former daytime series "Port Charles" and "Ryan's Hope."
