Tuesday, November 06, 2007 -- Marcia Cross (ABC's "Desperate Housewives"), Jason Bateman ("Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium"), Molly Shannon ("More of Me') and Jorja Fox ("CSI") are among the guests set to appear Nov. 12-16 on "The View," ABC's Emmy(r) Award-winning talk and entertainment program. "The View" airs Monday-Friday, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET, on the ABC Television Network. Recording superstar Jessica Simpson is the featured celebrity guest co-host, live, Nov. 15.

"Budget Week" returns with great looks at affordable fashions from top retailers and designers. On Monday, Nov. 12, "The View" welcomes guest co-host Laura Ingraham for an hour of sizzling "Hot Topics" discussions. Co-host Sherri Shepherd has returned from her first trip to the "12th Annual ABC Super Soap Weekend." Did she complete her quest to hunt down the hottest hunks of ABC Daytime? Tune in live, Monday, Nov. 12. Whoopi Goldberg celebrates her birthday on Tuesday, Nov. 13 with guests Bill O'Reilly (author, "Kids Are American Too") and musical guest Marc Cohn.

Whoopi Goldberg, moderator of ABC's "The View," revealed earlier this month that she has a dirty little secret, one she has in common with millions of Americans - she smokes. Through her series of weekly segments viewers are taken on Whoopi's personal journey as she reveals for the first time how long she has smoked, why she smokes, how much she smokes and why she has finally decided to quit. Whoopi will be given tips from staff members and advice from medical experts on living a smoke-free life. On Thursday, November 15, "The View" will mark The American Cancer Society's "Great American Smokeout," as they check in with Whoopi and monitor her progress.

"The View" features Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd. It's the original forum in which real women discuss everyday issues and share their no-holds-barred opinions and engage in colorful conversations. Since its launch, "The View" has received 22 Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Talk Show.
