DoD Identifies Army Casualty: Sgt.1st Class Johnny C. Walls, 41, of Bremerton, Washington
November 05, 2007 -- The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Sgt.1st Class Johnny C. Walls, 41, of Bremerton, Washington, died Nov. 2 in Uruzgan, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using small arms fire during combat operations.
He was assigned to the 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kan.
