ESPN's Men's College Basketball Season Tips Off
More than 1,050 Games Across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ABC, ESPN Classic, ESPN360.com, ESPN Regional Television and ESPN FULL COURT
November 5, 2007 -- With the tip-off of the 2007-08 men’s college basketball season -- more than 1,050 games across ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN Classic, ESPN360.com, ESPN Regional Television and ESPN FULL COURT – ESPN will host a media conference call.
New elements to this year’s coverage include:
• The addition of Pac-10 games on ESPN for the first time since 1995.
• The first year of new agreements with the BIG EAST and Big Ten conferences, providing each conference with an additional night of coverage as part of the weekly Thursday Night Showcase Presented by T Rowe Price beginning January 10;
• ESPN360.com will offer approximately 20 original games as well as simulcasts of every ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Classic and ABC split-national telecast;
• The first annual Pizza Hut BIG EAST/SEC Invitational -- four matchups between the conferences from two neutral sites (December 5-6);
• Two new tournaments: the O’Reilly ESPNU Puerto Rico Tip-Off November 15-18 and the Anaheim Classic from November 22-25.
