Mike Cameron Suspended First 25 Games of 2008 MLB Season
10/31/2007 -- The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Mike Cameron, who finished the 2007 season as a member of the San Diego Padres, has received a 25-game suspension for testing positive for a banned stimulant in violation of Major League Baseball's Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
The suspension of Mike Cameron, who is currently eligible to file for free agency, will be effective at the start of the 2008 regular season.
