Wednesday, October 24, 2007 -- Get ready for a 'roaring' good Halloween on "The View," live, Wednesday, Oct. 31 (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET) on the ABC Television Network. Join co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd and Barbara Walters as they celebrate in style (and in costume) to welcome some special guests. It's a show filled with live music, thrills and plenty of surprises.

Kaley Cuoco ("Big Bang Theory"), Tim Daly (ABC's "Private Practice"), Ethan Hawke ("Before the Devil Knows You're Dead") and David Spade are among the scheduled guests set to appear Oct. 29-Nov. 2 on "The View," ABC's Emmy(r) Award-winning talk and entertainment program. "The View" airs Monday-Friday, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET, on the ABC Television Network.

Whoopi Goldberg, moderator of ABC's "The View," revealed earlier this month that she has a dirty little secret, one she has in common with millions of Americans - she smokes. Through her series of weekly segments viewers are taken on Whoopi's personal journey as she reveals for the first time how long she has smoked, why she smokes, how much she smokes and why she has finally decided to quit. Whoopi will be given tips from staff members and advice from medical experts on living a smoke-free life. A new installment airs Monday, Oct. 29.

"The View" features Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd. It's the original forum in which real women discuss everyday issues and share their no-holds-barred opinions and engage in colorful conversations. Since its launch, "The View" has received 22 Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Talk Show. The show has received numerous nominations, including ten consecutive nominations for Outstanding Daytime Talk Show and Outstanding Talk Show Host.
